Time:

Please allow me time to make your creation. Once I receive your order I plan and shop for the items right away. After I have all the stuff to make it, I will usually build it in one evening. I try to do standard shipping  (5-7 business days) to keep your costs low. So the optimum time frame is to order at least two weeks out.

That being said, I have rush shipped orders and completed them within a week. This usually results in very high shipping costs for you. I once had a client pay $70 for 2 day shipping because of a crunched time frame. This is entirely up to you, but I would prefer to keep your costs low and not rush through making your gift.

Budget:

Each item, whether it is a cake or a wreath, has a suggested budget based on size. (Visit the item’s specific page to see the suggestions) Your budget is entirely up to you. Please do keep in mind that shipping is not included in the suggested budget. Shipping a typical cake usually costs around $15-30 depending on where it is going and how quickly you need it. I usually bill separately for shipping after it is mailed out.
